BIOGRAPHY::
In Norwegian:
Øystein har tidligere deltatt på utgivelser sammen med pianist Trond Fykse, 'ÅlgårdCDen' og 'Lyden Av Gjesdal'.
Han komponerte 2000-års verket for Gjesdal kommune og han komponerte bl.a. musikk som ble framført ved åpningsparaden til Stavanger Kulturby 2008.
Han lanserte sitt debutalbum under pseudonymet 'Jason_FX' i 2006, ble tildelt 2.plass under VG's kåring av Norges beste rockegitarist i 2008 og ga ut andre del av triologien (Acoustic Relations) i september 2009.
Etter dette har han laget noen musikkvideoer, blitt utgitt i Kina av Norsk Rock til Kina og blitt gitt ut på en compilation CD i USA av Come Clean Records.
I desember 2010 klarte han sammen med Elin Aanestad Auglend å arrangere Verdens Største Luciatog, godkjent av Guinness, på hjemstedet Ålgård i Rogaland.
I juni 2011 er han klar med siste del av Relations-Triologien, kalt Public Relations - i salg i alle platebutiker i Norge
Han jobber til daglig som lærer på Solås barneskole og driver lydstudioet Art of Music Studio/www.amstudio.no
Øystein Nybøe (born 29.12.1969) is a Norwegian singer/songwriter and producer. He lives in Ålgård, on the south-west coast of Norway and work as a teacher.
He has played in several bands and also in a duo with pianoplayer Trond Fykse, with whom he released their first full album in 1993 (Aktive skjerma).
He has composed pieces of music for the municipality of Gjesdal, Stavanger 2008, Siwisenteret, Aibel, SR-Bank and several others.
The last years he has been working as a producer with new talents on the ÅlgårdCDen and The Sound of Gjesdal-CD.
He has also worked with his two ongoing projects: Jason_FX and Billy the Boy.
The 18th of November he was on the Acoustika 12 release in Hollywood (by 272Records) His second album in the Relations-triology was " Acoustic Relations " (release 11.10.09).
In June 2011 his final album PUBLIC RELATIONS is released in Norway and worldwide on the web.
